🌸🐝Happy Spring!🦋🐛
If you live in metro Atlanta, please join me on March 28 from 10-noon when Friends of Lost Corner is hosting Nurture Native Nature for an in-person presentation to talk about creative and approachable ways to container garden using native plants. I’m excited to share this in-person presentation for the first time!

Ditch the tired garden center ornamentals and make habitat friendly planters using native plants to support biodiversity, butterflies, birds, native bees, and wildlife in your outside space. I’ll give guidelines for how to successfully create abundant planters along with inspiration and tips for how they can nurture nature all year long!

I'm baking nature inspired cookies and donating door prizes to make the day even more festive (cat not included!)

This free event is hosted by the Friends of Lost Corner but if you plan to attend, register now because this event is already filling up and space is usually at a premium in this cozy venue nestled in a 24-acre Sandy Springs city park.

Even better – to make it easy to get started, directly after the presentation
will be available with native plants, cedar planters, native seeds, and ecologically friendly ways to mitigate mosquitoes without harming pollinators. Everyone is welcome to stop by and shop at noon.

It looks like it will be a beautiful spring day so you may want to set aside enough time before or after the event to meander through the restorative 24-acre preserve.
I hope to see you there! If you don’t live in Atlanta, in May I’ll be partnering with a local native plant society for my first webinar to talk about the Habitat Friendly HOA. If I can figure out how to do webinars I can make my presentations available to more than the folks who can come to hear me in person.

🐛Please share this message where it might be welcome🐦
