Your invited to join me for a Webinar exploring how to create a Habitat Friendly HOA Yard on Wednesday, May 13 from 7-8pm. I’m honored to be hosted by my friends at the Georgia Native Plant Society – North Metro Chapter as part of their YouTube channel series. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required HERE

I’m nervous but excited to present my first Webinar and this is a perfect topic to share broadly because about 75 million people or 53% of all homeowners live in HOA governed communities and 81% of all new single-family home are part of an HOA! Yet most HOA landscaping standards don't include ecological considerations.

I’ll highlight why it is essential to view our yards as an ecologically functional source of life and share practical ways to boost biodiversity, promote sustainable landscape practices, and offer safe, supportive habitat for wildlife within the framework of typical HOA guidelines. I'll also share tips for how to raise awareness and advocate for change within an HOA. Participants will walk away inspired to make at least on meaningful change to support nature.

🐛Please share this where you think it might be welcome 🐦
